Froggie: The Missing Link

Here’s another nail in the coffin that holds the rotting corpse of Creationism. Thanks to Canadian scientists, there is one less gap in the fossil record for Creationists to cite as evidence against evolutionary theory. Froggie, a fossil of a part frog, part salamander discovered in Texas in 1995 is considered to be the common ancestor between the two amphibians.
Part-frog, part-salamander, Gerbatrachus hottoni lived about 275 million years ago, and the only fossil of the creature ever found has shed new light on just how ancient amphibians evolved into these two separate species.
This fossil falls right into a gap in the fossil record between one archaic group of amphibians and the earliest examples of the modern amphibians, frogs and salamanders."

but but, but

But Gord put it there for us to find. After all, if we've only found 1 of them, it must be the hand of Gord that put it in a place where we'd find it right?

but but and again I say but...

I wonder where ancient forms of Miss Piggie fit into all of this. Harriet is bound to have hidden a few fossils here and there. But she would probably hide them well.
